Some warm-up before doing other work. I’ll be starting Salary-Man Cat 2 very soon. Look for it in the Rruffurr 2014 summer edition online zine. This yet unnamed fellow will be making an appearance in this next installment.
Night In The Woods for the Sony Playstation, coming out Fall 1999.
A project I’ve been working on the past few days. Another piece of animated Night in the Woods fanart. It’s been fun playing around with animation in photoshop, but using this art style in an animation has proved to be pretty difficult. Still, I’m happy with the end result.
Before Bioshock came out, I was so excited I built a big daddy outfit out of ductape and cardboard, and stomped around my high school while wearing it one day. I think I’m having a similiar moment with NITW.
Side note, Mae and Bae are loosely colored after their colors from the start of the first trailer for the game.
Beautiful Animal Facts #5: Whale facts.
Be sure to whale watch at least once a week to ensure whales feel great about themselves!
I was playing around with customization options for my computer, because I wanted to change the boarders of my windows to black. I found a system sounds thingy, and changed all the beeps and boops on my computer to twangy guitar riffs.
It’s like 70% amazing and 30% not so great? The setting is called “Delta” on windows if you want this experience.
I’ve been feeling very hot and gross lately, so it’s been hard to sit down and make traditional art. Instead, I made a little newspaper coupon for Donut Wolf, a donut shop from Night In The Woods. What secrets does this shop hold? Is their coffee any good? Is there such thing as a “Donut wolf?”
Find out in Night In The Woods. When I first saw the trailer for this game I flipped. This game clicks with me so much. oh man.
This Rollin Leonard guy makes a post about how he doesn’t know how to swim at all, and then proceeds to swim a hundred laps. What a joker!
The second pup in my top three favorite pups from the second level of Um Jammer Lammy, which I can’t beat.
You can find these cool dogs here.
I’ve been doing this for years let me tell you little something
(With the funk)
But yeah, this character is super cute, just bouncing around in the background. I’ll probably do a couple more of these little dogs bouncing up and down with a proper background, in due time!
On this week’s episode of Beautiful Animal Facts, the amazing and terrifying facts behind the most trans-formative of animals, the caterpillar.
Next week is the Wasp, I promise!
This week’s update, the moral tendencies of snakes. Why are these slimey tube devils so evil? Find out!
Next week we’ll learn about Waps, the flying devil.
Has anyone else played Um Jammer Lammy? I’ve never had more trouble understanding how to play a game before. It’s nuts. I feel like I’m doing well, but it’s never good enough for Jammer Lammy. Never. Never…
The second round of drawing from the Dr. Sketchy’s figure drawing session. The first round of sketches can be found here.
There were free drinks at the event, and I was getting slightly tipsy around this point. It was such a fun event. They were playing everything from cowboy songs to songs about horses. Even played the old My Little Pony theme song, which cracked me up. If there’s ever a Dr. Sketchy’s even near your city, I wholeheartedly recommend it!
I recently did a figure drawing session at the Brattleboro Museum of Art. It featured a burlesque performer, and was put on by the Dr. Sketchy Anti-Art school. It was a lot of fun. The model had some really fun poses. Here I’ve arranged some sketches to tell the love story of a woman and her horse. I have some more risque sketches in this post.
